Of all places to, I just found out about this on the news in my area.

It's a "cheat sheet" of codes to bypass all the automated customer service stuff & speak with an actual person for quite a few compaines.

It's easier and cheaper to pay one person once to go over the menu options. It's easier for the company but not easier for the customer. As a rule of thumb I hit 0 when I get one of those automated services and this will generally take you to an operator unless they do not accept the number 0. If that's the case I will hit 9, *, or # and that generally will get the operator.
