The sad part is he should have been able to make the turn. Once he was on the dirt he was toast.

A few years back, I went to see a movie (I can't recall which one). This was in Plano, Texas, not two blocks from Troy Aikman's (The former Cowboys qtr back) house at the time. Very posh neighborhood. Parked in the theatre parking lot is a cherry red Viper. We oh and ah and then go inside. 2 hours later we exit the theatre to 10 cop cars with lights on. A battle of right of way between the Viper and an F150 had occured. The Viper lost. Badly. Very Badly. The lower frame and wheel base remained intact, but the entire body shell was squashed back into the last 2 ft of the Viper. The F150 had a dent on the outside of the bed. Apparantly the Viper had managed to drive under the truck. What I couldn't fathom was that the Viper driver was out of the car standing there talking to police. Surviving the wreck was a minor miracle. Surviving unscathed was a major one. How he and others removed the Viper from under the truck without a tow truck just boogles the mind.
